SHOES FOR KIDS

In conversation with one of our members, Bob Rhodes in Loi, he mentioned there was a school for poor children who needed shoes and that he had donated ten pairs, but felt bad that there were more children that needed them.
It was agreed that the SOS donate another ten pairs and to hold a charity event to raise further funds.
The charity event was in the form of a Pool Challenge, Pattaya members v Oldham members, which the Pattaya lads courteously lost! However the event raised enough for another 30 pairs of shoes – a great success, which will now be an annual event.
The word around Loi spread, and other schools came to our attention, and the project continues . . . . . . . .
